“Μπλε/Mble”, consists of works from the past four collections of the artist and it will be presented to the public in the island of Mykonos in August 2024. The artist’s last four collections arise through the evolution of the idea of the door as a key element with allegorical reference and evolution for each collection.
It wraps the journey of discovery – blue, as a color of infinite space, symbolizes the feeling of freedom and peace but also the color of distance and silence, necessary prerequisites for every journey and deep reflection.

The fourth collection, “365 days of colourful thoughts” was created during a sensitive and crucial period of the artists life – during her battle with cancer. It was then when she decided to become a full-time artist. This collection depicts the multidimensional stories that make us up, the uniqueness and beauty of each different story through hidden meanings, words and expressions.

“My Heart is Blue”, is a covid-inspired collection of which the subject matter continues from the previous collection and it clearly shows the longing for freedom and the departing from self-induced and imposed isolation; a nostalgia for anything that is blue, hence liberating: the sky, the sea and the fluid liberty of living in the Med.

“We are all stories in the end”, the artist’s third collection and a natural continuation of the previous two collections, depicts the deep reflection, geometry but also the complexity of each experience as part of the whole, a break-down and sharp look into what makes us whole. The deconstruction of her inspiration into tiny elements of what we are and what becomes of us provides a necessary link to how the artist has evolved and naturally transformed her art through the years.

“Hidden Beauty”, initiated by the beauty that lies behind closed, or half-open doors, has led the artist to an art journey where the door is a link between different worlds, as a symbol of transitions and opportunities, and as a reference to concepts such as freedom, discovery and transformation and it becomes more than the object, but also the subject and the action of self-exposure and new journeys ahead.

“World, hold on” is also a covid-inspired mini collection and a continuation of “My heart is blue”. It depicts the isolation from the world, the absence of external distractions and the importance of one’s inner freedom/peace.
